Keith Sutton was a trawler engineer who developed his natural talent as an artist to such an extent that he was able to make his living painting the boats that he used to sail in. At sea, much of his off-watch time was spent producing pictures.

Keith has tried various media but has concentrated, mainly, on pencil and oils. From time to time Fleetwood Library puts on exhibitions of his work and usually has several examples on display in their window. Sadly, Keith passed away in 2003.
