Most Fleetwood seamen started their nautical careers by 'pleasuring' aboard trawlers. I was certainly introduced to the delights of mal-de-mer that way, aboard the old Boston Canberra. Kerry Green has forwarded the pictures below, taken aboard the Wyre Trawlers vessel WYRE CAPTAIN, when he was pleasuring. If anyone can come up with additional information regarding the people pictured here, Kerry would be very interested in knowing.

Kerry Green with Larry O'Flaherty on his left and Jim McKernan on the right. Are they still around?

Kerry Green, Billy Spearpoint (the skipper's son) and Bob from Radcliffe Road. Can anyone come up with a surname?
