1917 Built as Admiralty Mersey JAMES BUCHANAN and fitted with listening hydrophones.
1922 Sold to mercantile and acquired by City Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Hull and renamed STONEFERRY H676.
1939To Fleetwood registration for Adam Steam Fishing Co Ltd.
ex- CAPE TARIFA (1938)
ex- FRANCISZKA (1939).
1940Requisitioned in February as FORCE by RN. Converted to a minesweeper and fitted with Oropesa gear and joined the Lowestoft m/s group sweeping from Lowestoft to Sheringham Shoal.
June 27 1941Sunk at anchor by air attack off Great Yarmouth. The vessel took 20 minutes to sink without loss of life.
