S.T. Braconburn A768


 

The steam trawler BRACONBURN (A768), (ex Admiralty Strath RICHARD BRISCOLL) was built in 1918 by Hall Russell of Aberdeen and completed as a training vessel. In 1921 she was sold to mercantile as BRACONBURN and purchased by the Don Fishing Co Ltd, Aberdeen.

1944 saw her bought by the RN and designated as a blockship but she was lost on 30 July on passage to Scapa Flow.
